Daily Itinerary Items

Day 1 : Fly to Fort Lauderdale
Our trip begins with a flight to the most popular beach resort town in Florida, Fort Lauderdale.


Day 2 : All Aboard
Before we board the Caribbean Princess®, enjoy a tour of the Sawgrass Recreation Park in the Everglades by airboat. Take in close-up views of endangered wildlife and learn about the area’s history from our experienced tour captain. In the early afternoon, we board our luxurious cruise liner. The Caribbean Princess® is a top-of-the-line ship featuring 952 feet of world-class amenities and will be our home for the next 10 nights. D


Day 3 : Princess Cays
Today we visit Princess Cays, an outstanding resort owned by Princess Cruises on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The day is an exclusive beach party to Princess Cruises guests, featuring a number of optional activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, and floating on water chairs. Sip cool drinks, eat delicious food, browse the craft shops or simply relax on white sandy beaches. B,L,D


Day 4 - 5: At Sea
Featuring a wide selection of comfort, excitement and decadence, there is something for everyone to enjoy on the Caribbean Princess®. Offering “Anytime Dining,” choose from a wonderful variety of dining options whenever is most convenient for you. Onboard activities include pools, hot tubs, a sports court, art gallery, shops, live music and nightly performances in the Princess Theater. B,L,D EACH DAY


Day 6 : Cartagena, Columbia
Steeped in rich tradition and history, discover the famous “Old City,” comprised of boutiques, restaurants and attractions. Cartagena still maintains much of its colonial architecture, and the walled city center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. B,L,D


Day 7 : Panama Canal
Today we witness one of the greatest engineering feats of the 20th century, the Panama Canal, connecting the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans. We cruise into the Panama Canal to Gatun Lake, where guests may disembark for optional shore excursions. Learn about the inner workings of the canal at Gatun Locks, ride the Panama Canal Railway, the world’s first transcontinental railway, or take an excursion boat through the Pedro Miguel and Miraflores Locks to the canal’s Pacific side. Later in the day, the ship retraces her route through the Gatun Locks to dock on the canal’s Caribbean side in Colón, Panama. Passengers may disembark in Colón and explore the dockside shops. B,L,D


Day 8 : Limón, Costa Rica
Connecting the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans, today we witness one of the greatest engineering feats of the 20th century. We cruise into the Panama Canal traversing the new locks to Gatun Lake, where guests may disembark for optional shore excursions. Optional activities today include learning about the inner workings of the canal at Gatun Locks, riding the Panama Canal Railway, the world's first transcontinental railway, or taking an excursion boat through the Pedro Miguel and Miraflores Locks to the Pacific end of the canal. Later in the day, the ship retraces her route through the Gatun Locks to dock in Colón, Panama on Panama’s Caribbean side. Passengers may disembark in Colón and explore the dockside shops. B,L,D


Day 9 : At Sea
On our way to the Cayman Islands, relax and enjoy the many amenities the ship has to offer. You are invited to join your Tour Director at dinner tonight followed by an exciting stage show. B,L,D


Day 10 : Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Our last port of call is Grand Cayman, where we have the day to explore this sublime island. Home to Seven Mile Beach, one of the most famous and luxurious stretches of sand in the Caribbean, spend the day relaxing in this impressive island getaway under the sun, or by participating in an optional excursion such as interacting with stingrays or dolphins, or enjoying a scenic tour of Georgetown by trolley. Day 11 : At Sea
Today is our last day on the ship as we make our way back to Florida. Attend a personal enrichment class, try your luck at the casino, or unwind in a lounge chair at the outdoor theater for Movies Under the Stars®. B,L,D


 

Day 12 : Fort Lauderdale
We disembark the Caribbean Princess® in Fort Lauderdale this morning for the world-famous Jungle Queen Riverboat Cruise. With more than 300 miles of navigable waterway, Fort Lauderdale is affectionately referred to as the “Venice of America.” We also float past the opulent homes of Millionaires Row. In the afternoon, tour the historic Bonnet House, designed and built by artist Frederic Clay Bartlett. Learn about the history of the Bartlett family as we tour this impressive beachfront estate’s charming rooms. In the evening, our Tour Director hosts a Holiday Vacations Farewell Dinner where we celebrate with our new friends. B,D


Day 13 : Fly Home
Today we fly home filled with memories of our Panama Canal Cruise!
