Day 2 : Vibrant Vegas
We enjoy a day in the Entertainment Capitol of the World, Las Vegas. Enjoy a guided tour of the Mob Museum and uncover the real story of classic organized crime with interactive exhibits and artifacts that once belonged to mobsters and the law enforcement agents. We will have time to spend the afternoon and evening as we please. Go on an adventurous excursion, stroll The Strip, or simply relax at your comfortable accommodations. L

Day 3 :  Hoover Dam
Today we marvel at the engineering behind Hoover Dam. Explore the visitor’s center and theater as well as a tour into the dam. From the Penstock Viewing Platform, we stand in awe of the 3-foot diameter pipes capable of transporting almost 90,000 gallons of water each second from the lake to the dam’s hydroelectric generators. We also enjoy staggering views from the Nevada powerplant balcony. After lunch at Hoover Dam Lodge, we cross over the Colorado River into Arizona. During our break stop in Kingman, AZ we take time to explore their Route 66 Museum and check out their collection of electric vehicles. Upon arrival in Flagstaff we enjoy a lively dinner at Black Bart's Steakhouse, Saloon & Music Review. Our accommodations for the next two nights are in Flagstaff. L,D

Day 4 : Grand Canyon
A spectacular natural wonder of the world, the Grand Canyon, greets us this morning. Stretching 277 miles its multi-hued walls tell an epic geologic story, sculpted over millennia by the shifting earth and by the winding Colorado River that still courses on the canyon’s floor. After a delicious lunch in the El Tovar Dining Room, take time on your own to experience the breathtaking beauty of this natural wonder. Later enjoy a scenic train journey aboard the historic Grand Canyon Railway. B,L

Day 5 : Sedona
We begin our day at the dazzling water-carved landscapes of Oak Creek Canyon. Next, we stop in Sedona, known for its rich Native American history. At Montezuma Castle National Monument the legacy of the Sinagua culture comes alive in their ancient, five-story cliff dwellings, some of the best preserved in North America. Tonight we arrive at our hotel in Phoenix for a delightful two-night stay. B,D

Day 6 : Phoenix
We begin our day traveling to the award-winning Queen Creek Olive Mill and receive a tour and chance to taste their oils. We enjoy a delicious lunch before heading to the Superstition Mountains. We board the Dolly Steamboat that has been cruising scenic Canyon Lake since 1925. Listen as the captain brings to life the local legends of the area as we travel the breathtaking Apache Trail. Enjoy the awe-inspiring views of the incredible Tonto National Forest, fascinating wildlife and more. B,L

Day 7 : Biosphere 2
Today we leave Phoenix and make our way to Tucson. En route we visit the Heard Museum for Native American Art and Culture. View the famous Kachina Dolls, symbols of good health in the Hopi culture. Next we transport ourselves to the farthest reaches of the Earth at Biosphere 2, a world-famous steel and glass research center. A guided tour will reveal the tropical rainforest, Savanna, ocean, marsh, desert, technosphere, and lung that helps moderate the air pressure in this sealed environment.
