Our Travel Protection Plan Just Got Better

Read about our new Travel Protection Plan and discover the new ways we’re helping you secure your travel investment.

Travel Insurance Holiday Vacations recognizes the value and importance of travel insurance for our guests. As of August 16, 2021, we are offering guests a new and improved insurance plan to cover travel concerns such as trip cancellation, trip interruption, trip delay, missed connections, baggage delay, emergency medical services, and including a Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) optional upgrade.

We want to go over the new plan’s important aspects and direct you to resources for more information.

The Travel Protection Plan is optional. You do not have to purchase the Travel Protection Plan if you do not want to and you may choose Cancel for Any Reason benefit as an optional upgrade.

The Travel Protection Plan is opt-in only. Holiday Vacations will not add the Travel Protection Plan rate to your balance unless you ask us to. Note that in order for the Travel Protection Plan to take effect, the plan’s premium must be paid in full on or before your tour’s final payment date.

New pre-existing exclusion waiver! If a guest pays the Travel Protection Plan’s premium in full within 15 days of paying the first deposit to a tour, the Travel Protection Plan waives pre-existing medical conditions for that tour. Note that the guest must also be medically able to travel at the time they purchase the plan.

For tour prices up to $5500, Travel Protection Plan premiums have not changed. A new bracket has been created for tour prices between $5501-$7000. For tour prices at $7001+, simply calculate 6.85% of the tour’s price.
