Discover four beautiful Hawaiian Islands aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America with the perfect blend of leisure time and activities, plus all meals included on the ship. Fly into Honolulu, where we embark on a city tour with a visit to Pearl Harbor National Memorial. Our luxurious cruise ship then takes us on an incredible seven-night journey, featuring ports of call on Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, and Kauai. There is plenty of leisure time on each island to spend as you wish, and we also enjoy two amazing shore excursions as a group: an exclusive Hawaii Volcanoes National Park tour on the Big Island and an authentic luau with dinner at Luau Kalamaku. After disembarking in Honolulu, we conclude our time in paradise with a private tour of Oahu’s North Shore.

Luau Kalamaku at Kilohana Plantation
This estate dates back to 1864 when Gaylord Wilcox began growing sugar cane in the midst of Hawaii’s sugar boom. He built Kauai’s first mansion in the early 1900s, which has been immaculately persevered. Enjoy a stroll through the tropical gardens before witnessing a customary imu ceremony, followed by a delicious dinner with drinks and dessert. Our night concludes with an authentic luau performance that transports us back to ancient Polynesia while telling the story of those who voyaged from Tahiti to Kauai. The high-energy show includes authentic costumes, hula dancers, chants, and a fire-knife routine!

Explore multiple islands with ease on the only U.S-flagged cruise ship, boasting a Hawaiian theme. Be immersed in the culture and spirit of the Islands with hula and lei-making classes, a Polynesian show, and discussions with an onboard Native ambassador who provides exclusive insight. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Named an International Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site for its extraordinary natural diversity, this protected landscape encompasses six climate zones! From lava fields and craters to deserts and lush rainforest along rugged coastline, there’s no shortage of natural wonders. It’s also home to one of Earth’s most active volcanoes, Kilauea. We may even get a chance to walk through a 500-year-old lava cave, Thurston Lava Tube!
Oahu’s North Shore Private Tour
Embark on a picturesque journey with exclusive local insights along this laid-back stretch of coastline featuring over 50 beaches that span roughly 11 miles. Surfers from around the globe come here for the massive waves and professional surfing contests at Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach! We also discover “Old Hawaii” in historic Haleiwa, the social and artistic hub of the North Shore that’s brimming with galleries and charming shops.
- Day 1: Fly to HonoluluA traditional lei greeting welcomes us to Oahu before we check in to our hotel. Nestled along the white sands of Waikiki Beach, enjoy views of Diamond Head Crater and beautiful rooms with private lanais.
- Day 2: Pearl HarborStart the day with a delicious breakfast at our hotel. Then, journey to the most moving site on Oahu, Pearl Harbor National Memorial. On December 7, 1941, the Japanese attacked the Navy’s Pacific Fleet, catapulting the U.S. into World War II. We stop by the visitor center to view the exhibits that recall that pivotal day and embark on a Navy launch to the USS Arizona Memorial, which spans the sunken battleship. After a Holiday Vacations Welcome Lunch, we tour the Honolulu area, viewing the volcanic shaped Hawaiian State Capitol building and Iolani Palace, the only palace in the U.S. once inhabited by a reigning monarch. We then visit the Punchbowl, an extinct volcano and home of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. *Tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial are subject to availability through National Park Service and confirmed the day prior.

- Day 3: Pride of AmericaAfter a relaxing morning we transfer to the only U.S.-flagged cruise ship, Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of America, to begin our seven-night cruise. Enjoy all the benefits of NCL’s Freestyle Cruising, where you set your own schedule with a variety of activities and dining options. Delight in spectacular live entertainment and the ship’s popular deck parties. The onboard Native ambassadors teach us about their culture, providing an authentic Hawaiian experience.

- Day 4: MauiOur first port of call is Kahului, Maui. We have ample time to explore the Valley Isle, named for its long blankets of green set against soaring mountains. The second largest island in Hawaii, it's surrounded by gorgeous beaches and frequented throughout the winter months by calving humpback whales.

- Day 5: The Valley IsleWake up for a second day on Maui today and choose from NCL’s excursions or relax onboard and enjoy the variety of entertainment and dining options. Catch a show at an onboard venue with live music in casual lounges or join a DJ dance party at sea!

- Day 6: Hawaii Volcanoes National ParkSail into Hilo on the Big Island this morning, gateway to the fascinating world of active volcanoes. We'll visit Rainbow Falls, famous for producing colorful spectrums of light with water cascading from 80 feet high. Then, we stop for a delicious included lunch just outside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. After lunch, with our own private driver-guide, we explore volcanic craters, steam vents, and eerie lava formations. The park displays the monumental results of 70 million years of volcanic activity and sheds light on the creation of the Hawaiian Islands. Back on board our ship, we cruise around the Big Island to Kona.

- Day 7: The Big IslandVisit the leeward (west) side of the Big Island today, anchoring off the coast and taking tenders into the heart of Kailua-Kona. Choose from a variety of activities for leisure time such as hiking the rare black sand beach, embarking on a glass-bottom reef tour, or learning why this area is famous for its coffee. You may also enjoy an optional tour of Kona to see St. Benedict’s renowned painted church, noted for its colorful murals that depict biblical scenes, and Old Hawaii at Pu’uhonua O Honauau National Historical Park, a place of refuge. Within this previously political and religious sanctuary for breakers of sacred law, discover a temple that once housed the bones of deceased chiefs with wooden images of the gods that protect it.

- Day 8: Evening LuauWe dock in Nawiliwili, Kauai this morning. Kauai is known as The Garden Isle, a lush paradise of rainforest, tropical flowers, magnificent canyons, and beaches. Norwegian Cruise Line provides many exciting options to explore this beautiful island for the day. Tonight, we are immersed in the flavor, culture, and sounds of Polynesia with an included excursion to Luau Kalamaku at Kilohana Plantation.

- Day 9: The Garden IsleDiscover more of Kauai today with a full day at leisure to spend as you please. This is a great time for an optional Mokihana Helicopter adventure for bird’s-eye views of colorful Waimea Canyon and the “Valley of the Lost Tribe,” shrouded in mystery. We board our ship this evening and begin cruising back to the beautiful island of Oahu.

- Day 10: Oahu’s North ShoreWe disembark our ship this morning in Honolulu. Then, we meet our driver-guide for a private tour of Oahu’s North Shore, a mecca for surfers as well as those seeking blue waters and a taste of Old Hawaii. Later, we board our overnight flight to the mainland.
