Enjoy seeing the wonders of Music City on a guided tour, learn about the greats at the Country Music Hall of Fame, visit the birthplace of the “Nashville Sound” at Historic RCA Studio B, witness the history of horse racing at Belle Mead Historic Site & Winery, and relax on an afternoon luncheon cruise aboard the General Jackson Showboat. Of course, no trip to this world-renowned destination would be complete without country music performances and we attend two, including a memorable evening at the Grand Ole Opry.

Trip overview may vary by departure.

  • Day 1: Fly to Tennessee
Upon arriving in Nashville, we check in to the luxurious Gaylord Opryland Resort, Nashville's premiere hotel and our home for the next five nights. This resort offers everything you could want on a vacation with four expansive atriums and gardens, over fifteen on-site dining options, opulent spa treatments, and world-class service.
  • Day 2: A Music City Christmas
Our holiday adventure begins with a guided tour of Music City, featuring close-up views of iconic landmarks as well as the studios and performance halls that inspired the roots of country and blues music. Next, we get to know fellow travelers over a Welcome Lunch in downtown Nashville, followed by time at leisure to explore as you wish. Go shopping or enjoy live music at distinctive honky-tonks along Broadway, then use your included tickets to the Ryman Auditorium for a self-guided tour of the “Mother Church of Country Music.” After sunset, we gather for a captivating stroll through creative light displays at Cheekwood Estate and Gardens with the option to have s’mores, browse the Holiday Marketplace, or admire intricate décor in the mansion.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

  • Day 3: Leisure Day & Holiday Dinner Show
Today is yours to soak up the magical atmosphere of Nashville during the holidays. Creative spirit is found everywhere within the city, especially during the most wonderful time of the year! Try a seasonal cocktail while listening to live entertainment, grab tickets to a musical, uncover the stories behind famous musicians, shop for locally made goods, and more. This is also a great opportunity to take advantage of all the resort’s amenities with a day of relaxation, such as an included cruise down the scenic river in the Delta Atrium with sights of waterfalls, an 85-foot fountain, and over four acres of gardens. Tonight, our group enjoys a spectacular three-course dinner prepared by award-winning chefs and a performance by a popular country music star who sings Christmas classics and original music.

  • Day 4: Country Music Hall of Fame
This morning, we take a journey through the rich history of country, western, and folk music at the Country Music Hall of Fame. A highlight of this visit is the permanent exhibit, Sing Me Back Home, which brings us through the sounds of country music all the way back to its pre-commercial roots in the 19th century. After lunch at leisure, we tour Studio B, the famous RCA recording studio that recorded Elvis Presley, Chet Atkins, Eddy Arnold, The Everly Brothers, and many others. Later, our exploration continues at Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery to learn the century-long history of this mansion and museum. Unlike most Southern estates of its time, Belle Meade was primarily used for thoroughbred horse breeding, training, and racing. The evening is free to spend as you wish.

After dinner at leisure, our evening concludes with a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry, the famous concert series and radio show that’s been celebrating country music since 1925.
