- Day 1: Fly to TahitiWe depart the United States on a comfortable flight to Papeete, arriving late evening. After clearing customs at Faa’a International Airport, we settle into our accommodations.
- Day 2: Tahiti Island Tour & the Star BreezeThis morning, we begin our island exploration with a West Coast tour featuring sights of black sand beaches, the vibrant lagoon, and lush valleys. View the fascinating archaeological site of Marae Arahurahu and the Water Gardens of Vaipahi, then visit the Museum of Tahiti and The Islands to discover treasures of Oceanic. This afternoon, we stop by The Restaurant Bar at Musee Gauguin for an authentic Tahitian lunch before boarding Windstar’s Star Breeze to experience the luxury of yacht-style cruising. This newly renovated, all-suite ship is small enough to venture into ports beyond the reach of larger vessels, yet expansive enough to provide high-class entertainment and amenities. Enjoy upscale, spacious suites with an ocean view and all meals included onboard!

- Day 3: Cook’s Bay, MooreaOur first port of call is the volcanic island of Moorea, known as the pride and joy of French Polynesia. Journey into the rugged landscapes of dense rainforests that cover the mountains or explore the marine life and coral reef ecosystem. There are many phenomenal shore excursions available to purchase including a snorkel safari, stingray encounter, and 4x4 adventure. If you’re interested in capturing some photographic keepsakes, there’s also an option of joining a professional photographer on an island tour.

- Day 4: Uturoa, RaiateaOur ship docks in Raiatea today, also called the Sacred Island. There are countless archaeological treasures and thousands of years of history to be discovered here, as it is considered the first homeland to Polynesians who migrated from Southeast Asia around 1000 AD. You may choose to make the most of your day with relaxation, a moderate hike to see cascading waterfalls, or a shore excursion, such as a tour of Marae Taputapuatea. Dedicated to the god of war, Oro, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is an expansive complex that once hosted important ceremonies for kings and is considered the cornerstone of historic Polynesian culture.

- Day 5: Motu Mahaea, Taha’aWe dock at the neighboring islet of Motu Mahaea this morning, renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and many vanilla farms. You may choose to purchase an optional excursion to various sacred sites or relax on the white sandy beach near crystal-clear waters. Windstar’s complimentary watersport rentals are available for use to enjoy paddleboarding, snorkeling, and more. We also gather for a special included lunch, a savory barbecue with tropical refreshments.

- Day 6: Exclusive Polynesian Show & Beach DinnerToday’s port of call is Bora Bora, famous for its opulent beaches, gorgeous turquoise lagoon, and overwater bungalows. This island sits in a caldera that was formed millions of years ago when an extinct volcano with two peaks erupted, Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia. Enjoy a traditional lei greeting upon arrival, then explore as you wish! Later, we gather for dinner and entertainment on the beach of a “motu,” one of Bora Bora’s small, secluded islets. Delight your tastebuds with exceptional cuisine crafted by Windstar’s executive chef as you watch a spectacular Polynesian fire dancing show. Our ship anchors for two nights here, surrounded by beautiful scenery.

- Day 7: Vaitape, Bora BoraEnjoy another full day to soak up heavenly Bora Bora. Spend time relaxing on the luxurious beaches or book one of the many wonderful excursions available, including a jet ski tour, jeep safari, snorkeling, or sunset sailing adventure.

- Day 8: Maroe Bay, HuahineWe arrive in Huahine today, known as the Garden of Eden and one of Tahiti’s best-kept secrets. This island is an explorer’s paradise as the entire area is an open-air museum with hundreds of ancient Polynesian temples! Don’t miss an opportunity to visit the island’s only town, Fare, to browse quaint shops and experience authentic Polynesian hospitality. You may also enjoy seeing the 400-year-old stone fishing traps still used today or feeding the sacred blue-eyed eels, only found in the river of Faie. Of course, this lush oasis also offers the perfect place to relax on pristine beaches or swim in crystal-clear water.

- Day 9: Disembark in PapeeteWe disembark the ship in Papeete this morning and enjoy one more day of exploring paradise on an East Coast tour. Learn about the area’s rich history as you venture out to view Vaimahuta waterfall within Tiare Valley and the famous Arahoho Blowhole that sits along the stunning volcanic coastal landscape. This evening, we return to the airport for our overnight flight home.
